It's another Saturday spent behind the children's desk at work. In less than a month, I will have an 8 year anniversary of working at MCDL. Kinda makes me feel old when I see 17 year old patrons here who I used to see at age 9 when I first started. I know that I've found my way back home here at the library - with 1 of 5 quarters finished for my master's in library science degree, I step closer and closer to settling in as a YA librarian. Who knows how many young faces will grow up in front of my surprised eyes? Hopefully many. How many will find a home at the library like I did?...1, 2, 10, or many; all the same. All priceless.
